Step 1 - Meet the Criteria

Young adults must be between the ages of 18 and 28. Together with their families, the resident will participate in our therapeutic-assessment process to empower positive change.

Step 2 - Call or Email

The next step is an inquiry call or email to our admissions personnel from an educational consultant, referring professional, parent or guardian to discuss Coeur's availability, questions about the assessment process and clinical match.

Step 3 - Interview

Once appropriate releases of information are signed, prior educational and psychological testing/evaluations and pertinent records and information are sent to Coeur for review. Parental and/or potential resident interviews are conducted and treating professionals are contacted for consultation.

Step 4 - Clinical Acceptance

If the potential young adult is found to be an appropriate match for our residential mental-health therapeutic-assessment center by the clinical team and medical director, the parents and/or referral sources are notified and the admission process continues.

Step 5 - Sign Paperwork/Tour Facilities

Upon acceptance into the program, an application and packet of information is sent to the family, and a tour of the program or admission date can be scheduled. Program application and forms are then signed and sent to Coeur prior to admission.

Step 6 - Admission

Admission dates are set for Monday through Thursday, prior to 3 p.m. Travel plans can then be coordinated and confirmed.
